Sr. Transportation Project Manager (Civil Engineering): Leading the delivery of community transportation improvement projects from planning and conceptual design through to construction with an accent on PD&E projects and roadway/highway engineering. Location: Onsite in Florida (Wesley Chapel, Pace, Jacksonville, West Palm Beach, Miami, Fort Lauderdale)

What you will do

  • Lead mid- to large-size transportation projects across the entire lifecycle from planning to construction.
  • Manage PD&E projects, including the preparation of scope, schedules, and budgets.
  • Develop and present complex technical solutions to clients using innovative problem-solving.
  • Oversee the planning and design for roadway, highway, and traffic engineering projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide leadership and mentoring to staff.
  • Assist in business development and proposal efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in transportation engineering and project management.
  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Florida or the ability to obtain it within 1 year.
  • Proficiency in transportation design software, including OpenRoads, Microstation, and InRoads.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex roadway/highway projects.
  • Strong knowledge of transportation industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

Nice to have

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience with OpenRoads Design software.
