What you will do

• Lead the delivery of roadway projects from conceptual design through preliminary, intermediate, and final design phases to construction.
• Manage a team of engineers and designers for roadway, highway, and civil improvement projects for State, City, and County agencies.
• Prepare project scopes, schedules, and budgets for projects and task orders.
• Develop and present complex technical solutions to clients with innovative problem-solving.
• Oversee planning and design for roadway, bridge, and traffic engineering projects.
• Assist in business development and proposal efforts with local municipal, state, and private clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Planning, Sciences or a closely related field.
• 8 years of experience in transportation project management.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex roadway/highway projects.
• Proficiency in transportation design software, including OpenRoads and MicroStation.
• Strong knowledge of transportation industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Must be able to work onsite in Tennessee (Brentwood, Knoxville, Chattanooga, or Jackson).
