What you will do

• Lead a regional group of Construction Engineering Inspection (CEI) teams delivering Department of Transportation and municipal projects (e.g., milling/resurfacing, intersection improvements, drainage, earthwork, bridge work, utility relocations).
• Serve as project executive on multiple projects and guide project staff in establishing and maintaining project processes per contract requirements.
• Ensure projects adhere to contract documents, budget constraints, and schedules using sound document controls and internal quality assurance measures.
• Communicate with owner representatives and contractors to strategize complex operations and resolve contract challenges.
• Perform monthly CPM schedule review and approval.
• Manage administrative staff to prepare documentation for final estimate submission throughout construction.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Civil, Environmental, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum ten years of construction inspection experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Obtain required certifications and pass qualification tests within specified time frames.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred (not required).
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record; field work involves outdoor environments and physical demands up to 35 lbs lifting.
