Salary: $170,000 - $200,000

What you will do

• Serve as the primary employment law resource for the U.S., Canada, and Latin America, advising on hiring, terminations, and wage compliance.
• Partner with HR/People leaders on workplace investigations, employee relations, and manager training.
• Design and implement scalable legal processes, including playbooks and templates for business leaders.
• Manage employment disputes and agency charges (EEOC, NLRB) across the Americas region.
• Draft and negotiate commercial agreements, including SaaS, data subscriptions, and API licensing.
• Support intellectual property strategies, ownership, and corporate governance matters.

Requirements

• J.D. with New York Bar admission.
• 8+ years of legal experience with a deep focus on U.S. federal and multi-state employment law.
• Must be based in New York City for a hybrid 3-day in-office arrangement.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to translate legal complexity for executives.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Canadian or Latin American employment law.
• Exposure to international mobility or M&A employment integration.
• Skill in drafting fintech commercial contracts and Intellectual Property matters.
