What you will do

• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software anomalies during on-road vehicle testing.
• Implement and document temporary fixes to maintain vehicle uptime without compromising safety.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) using methodologies such as 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams, and FMEA.
• Collaborate with cross-functional software and hardware teams to derive long-term system improvements.
• Maintain and manage automotive safety standards including ISO 26262 and UL 4600.
• Streamline troubleshooting protocols and automate diagnostic routines to boost operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in automotive, robotics, or aerospace troubleshooting of complex vehicle systems.
• Proficiency with Linux-based systems and command-line diagnostics.
• Solid understanding of computer networking fundamentals and CAN bus diagnostics.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.
