Location: Hybrid (USA). Must be based in or work from one of hirify.global's offices at least 3 days per week: Bozeman, Coppell, Livonia, Louisville, Mountain View, Pittsburgh, San Francisco, or Seattle.

Salary: $35.75 - $51.75 per hour

What you will do

• Perform diagnostics, execute test-plans, and carry out vehicle upgrades in collaboration with Software and Hardware teams.
• Maintain and repair complex mechanical and electrical components of the hirify.global Driver.
• Document findings and escalate critical data through internal processes.
• Build and set up test rigs for mechanical and electrical testing across multiple teams.
• Fabricate parts and jigs for prototypes using tools like drill presses and saws.
• Develop and implement improved workshop standards and protocols.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of OEM Technician experience.
• 1-3 years of experience with Autonomous Vehicles (AV) or Electric Vehicles (EV).
• Strong diagnostic capabilities and a logical troubleshooting approach.
• Proficiency with JIRA.
• Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with CAN bus issues.
• Direct manufacturing and prototyping experience.
• Prior experience specifically with autonomous vehicles.
