Civil Engineer (AI Infrastructure): Contributing to the full lifecycle of site development projects for AI data centers with an accent on site assessments, design development, and compliance. Location: Must be based in the US. Ideally based in Houston, San Francisco, or Long Beach (Onsite/Hybrid), though remote exceptions may be made for exceptional talent.

What you will do

• Develop site layouts, including grading plans, drainage systems, utility routing, and foundation design.
• Conduct site assessments, gather geotechnical data, and contribute to environmental impact studies.
• Research local zoning laws and building codes to support the permitting process with municipal and state agencies.
• Contribute to project schedules and budgets, and assist with vendor coordination.
• Support structural calculations for specialized equipment housing, such as cooling units and heavy electrical infrastructure.
• Perform site inspections to verify construction alignment with engineering specifications and safety standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
• 2–4 years of experience in land development, industrial construction, or data center infrastructure.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, or similar BIM software.
• Working knowledge of hydrology, soil mechanics, and reinforced concrete design.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• PE license.
• Familiarity with critical infrastructure requirements (Power, Cooling, and Fiber connectivity).
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and stakeholders.
