Salary: $115,000 - $155,000 / yr

Maritime robotics company building autonomous unmanned surface vessels (USVs) for persistent ocean monitoring across the Pacific and Atlantic oceans.

What you will do

• Own internal IT operations, serving as the primary point of contact for employee support and troubleshooting.
• Administer Google Workspace, identity management (SSO, MFA), and collaboration systems.
• Manage company devices, software licenses, and inventory using MDM platforms for Windows and macOS.
• Design and maintain reliable office networks, including DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, Wi-Fi, and firewalls.
• Support security and compliance efforts through documentation, controls, and audits.
• Develop the company's long-term IT roadmap and budget.

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on IT systems administration or IT operations experience.
• Experience owning IT for a small or mid-sized organization.
• Strong Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 administration experience.
• Proficiency in managing Windows and macOS devices through an MDM platform.
• Working knowledge of Linux and strong networking fundamentals.
• Must be independently authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting engineering, robotics, aerospace, defense, or manufacturing organizations.
• Familiarity with NIST 800-171, CMMC, SOC 2, or ISO 27001 frameworks.
• Experience with Okta, JumpCloud, Kandji, Jamf, or Microsoft Intune.
• Scripting or automation experience with Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
