What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure IT infrastructure.
• Manage and optimize cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Implement advanced security technologies and practices to protect company data and systems.
• Lead IT projects using established project management methodologies.
• Develop automation scripts and perform advanced systems administration tasks, including performance tuning and system optimization.
• Manage and troubleshoot complex networking and distributed computing environments; collaborate cross-functionally and support stakeholders with documentation and presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree; or Master’s + 6 years experience).
• Typically 8+ years of related experience.
• Advanced systems administration knowledge plus 3+ years with cloud computing platforms (AWS or Azure).
• Expertise in designing and implementing scalable and secure infrastructure and experience with advanced security technologies.
• Knowledge of IT project management methodologies and ability to lead and mentor junior system administrators.
• Strong OS and performance analysis knowledge, plus networking/distributed computing environment concepts (routing, bridging/switching, client/server, and network-wide filesystem layout design).

Nice to have

• Advanced certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins).
