What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure IT infrastructure.
• Manage and optimize cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
• Perform advanced Linux systems administration, performance tuning, and system optimization.
• Develop automation scripts to streamline infrastructure processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Manage and troubleshoot complex networking and distributed computing environments.
• Lead IT projects, mentor junior administrators, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, customers, and technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, equivalent work experience, or a relevant master’s degree with additional experience.
• Typically 8+ years of related experience, including advanced systems administration and at least 3 years with cloud computing platforms.
• Expertise in scalable infrastructure design, security technologies, operating system concepts, file systems, paging and swapping, inter-process communication, and performance analysis.
• Strong understanding of routing, bridging, switching, client/server programming, distributed computing, and network-wide file system design.
• Ability to lead and mentor junior administrators, solve complex problems, write technical documentation and proposals, and present to customers and professional peers.

Nice to have

• Advanced AWS or Azure certifications.
• Experience with DevOps tools and practices, including Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins.
• Experience with Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or similar scripting and automation tools.
