What you will do

• Design, implement, expand, and decommission enterprise infrastructure as requirements evolve.
• Provide advanced Tier 3 troubleshooting and technical support for the desktop team.
• Plan and implement infrastructure initiatives in collaboration with engineering, IT, and program leadership.
• Maintain patching, monitoring, testing, and performance strategies across infrastructure, applications, backups, and high-availability systems.
• Partner with IT security specialists to implement security standards and maintain systems aligned with CMMC 2.0.
• Support continuity of operations and disaster recovery capabilities.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience as an IT Systems Engineer or in a related role, with strong knowledge of enterprise IT architecture.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proficiency with Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems; firewalls, routing, switching, wireless, authentication, VLANs, and VPN technologies.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, Office 365, and scripting or programming in Python or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of CMMC 2.0, DFARS 252.204-712, and NIST 800-171; familiarity with ISO 27001 and ITAR is beneficial.
• U.S. citizenship and authorization to work in the United States are required.

Nice to have

• CISSP, CompTIA, or other relevant industry certifications.
• Three to five years of experience in a government-regulated or high-security industry.
• Experience with ISO 27001 and ITAR requirements.
