What you will do

• Design and deliver reporting, dashboards, and analytics solutions specifically for higher education institutions.
• Work directly with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and define key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Develop and deploy dashboards primarily using Tableau and Tableau Next.
• Collaborate with data engineering and CRM teams to validate data sources and establish reporting logic.
• Serve as a client-facing advisor to improve the usability and adoption of analytics solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data visualization.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with Higher Education Advancement, fundraising, or constituent data.
• Hands-on expertise in designing, developing, and deploying Tableau dashboards.
• Strong SQL, data analysis, and data-validation skills.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Flexibility to travel periodically based on business and client needs.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI or Salesforce CRM Analytics.
• Knowledge of Advancement platforms such as Ellucian Advance, Blackbaud CRM, Raiser’s Edge, or Slate.
• Experience with cloud data platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, or Azure.
• Tableau certifications (e.g., Certified Data Analyst, Desktop Specialist).
