Salary: $71,000–$80,000 per year, plus stock options and benefits.

What you will do

  • Bond composite hulls, decks, bulkheads, structural components, inserts, brackets, and mounting hardware using epoxy and structural adhesives.
  • Prepare bonding surfaces through sanding, cleaning, abrasion, and other surface preparation techniques.
  • Read engineering drawings, assembly instructions, and work orders to build accurate assemblies.
  • Use fixtures and jigs for alignment and repeatable assembly; trim, drill, fit, and finish composite parts.
  • Inspect assemblies for quality, fit, alignment, and workmanship before handoff.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturability and assembly processes while maintaining a safe, organized workspace.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with hand and power tools, including pneumatic tools, drills, grinders, and measuring equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail, workmanship standards, timekeeping, and communication.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, learn new techniques, and contribute to manufacturing improvements.
  • Ability to work in a dusty manufacturing environment while using appropriate PPE and following safety procedures.
  • Must qualify as a U.S. person under applicable export control laws and be independently authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

  • Composite manufacturing or repair experience.
  • Boat knowledge.
