Quality Inspector - Assembly (Marine Manufacturing)

Location: Vonore, Tennessee, United States; onsite

Salary: $21.42–$24.50 per hour, with potential eligibility for annual discretionary bonuses, short-term incentives, and a long-term incentive award.

What you will do

• Inspect interior and exterior boat finishes against specified standards and acceptance criteria.
• Verify installed components meet form, fit, and function requirements.
• Confirm boats comply with regulations, option specifications, and stated performance requirements.
• Ensure equipment and components are correctly installed and loaded.
• Record inspection findings and variables in the QC2 system.
• Work with Production to identify improvement opportunities and help determine solutions.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• At least three years of experience in the marine industry.
• Technical competence across multiple boat-building disciplines and safe vessel operation.
• Ability to understand prints and drawings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and effective teamwork.
• Ability to work extended hours and perform physical duties including lifting, standing, bending, stooping, walking, and climbing stairs.
