What you will do

• Implement and maintain company Safety and Health Procedures on complex projects.
• Administer Drug and Alcohol Substance Abuse Programs and conduct employee safety training.
• Perform detailed site inspections and lead incident/injury investigations.
• Manage construction contractor safety programs and interface with government officials.
• Supervise and develop safety and health specialists and interns.
• Administer project worker's compensation programs and procedures.

Requirements

• 5+ years of safety and health experience.
• Experience in a construction environment (3+ years preferred).
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screens, and motor vehicle records search.
• Possession of certifications such as First Aid, CPR, and OSHA 500/501.
• Ability to travel up to 70% and perform physically demanding labor in extreme weather.
