What you will do

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the facility’s Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) programs.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with OSHA regulations (1910/1926) and corporate safety requirements.
  • Conduct investigations for accidents and near-misses, performing detailed root cause analyses.
  • Manage the safety training program for employees and contractors to ensure safe work practices.
  • Monitor program effectiveness through KPIs, audits, and field observations.
  • Coordinate medical surveillance programs and act as the primary contact for the health clinic.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Occupational Health and Safety experience in industrial, power generation, or utility environments.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA 1910 and 1926 regulations.
  • Must be based in or able to work onsite in Ronkonkoma, NY.
  • Ability to qualify for and wear a full-face respirator.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Health, Science, or Engineering preferred.
