What you will do

• Perform corrective, preventive, and emergency maintenance on inverters (Sungrow, Hitachi, Siemens, ABB) and trackers (Soltec, ATI).
• Execute electrical troubleshooting, repair, and instrumentation calibration.
• Operate electrical and mechanical power plant systems.
• Prepare and implement switching and clearance orders.
• Assist with site vegetation management using tractors and riding mowers.
• Maintain documentation to ensure work follows environmental and safety requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic knowledge of electrical or mechanical fundamentals.
• Experience with electrical systems and safety principles, including LOTO and Electrical Safety.
• Technical proficiency in standard business software; SCADA and CMMS experience recommended.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Charles City, VA.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.

Nice to have

• Technical degree or Solar certification.
• Experience in solar system installation.
