What you will do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on PV solar modules, arrays, inverters, and BESS containers.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex AC/DC electrical systems (MV/HV) to ensure maximum equipment availability.
• Coordinate and lead third-party technicians in performing site maintenance and construction activities.
• Manage high-quality documentation, including service tickets, switching orders, and safety permits (LOTO, JHA).
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with procurement for spare parts re-ordering.
• Support construction and commissioning of new facilities to ensure a smooth transition to O&M.

Requirements

• Must be based onsite at Waikoloa Solar+BESS Power Plant (Big Island, Hawaii).
• 3+ years of experience as a solar PV technician or 5+ years in a power plant.
• Technical degree or Journeyman qualification in electrical trade.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, NFPA 70e, and Lockout/Tagout protocols.
• Ability to obtain a TWIC card.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.

• NFPA 70E and OSHA 30 Certification.
