Location: Must be based in or able to work in Spotsylvania County and Orange County, VA

Salary: $26.00 - $31.03 per hour

What you will do

• Execute O&M activities for solar PV sites and substations in Spotsylvania and Orange County.
• Perform corrective, preventive, and emergency maintenance on inverters, trackers, and DC/AC collection systems.
• Handle electrical troubleshooting, instrumentation calibration, and basic inverter repairs.
• Prepare and implement switching and clearance orders.
• Manage site vegetation using tractors, riding mowers, and other equipment.
• Document work according to environmental and safety requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Basic knowledge of electrical or mechanical fundamentals.
• Experience with electrical systems and safety principles, including LOTO.
• Technical proficiency in standard business software and PC operation.

Nice to have

• Technical degree or Solar certification.
• Experience in solar system installation.
• Experience with SCADA and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
