Salary: $28.50 – $34.21 per hour

What you will do

• Learn safe BESS inspection, operation, and maintenance practices under the direction of qualified technicians.
• Assist with preventive and corrective maintenance on utility-scale BESS assets.
• Support visual inspections of containers, battery management systems, PCS/inverter equipment, and HVAC systems.
• Support commissioning, seasonal readiness, outage work, and equipment punch-list closeout.
• Accurately complete work orders, inspection forms, and maintenance records using CMMS and Workday.
• Participate in safety meetings, emergency drills, and incident prevention activities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicles.
• Ability to work outdoors in utility-scale environments, including exposure to heat, cold, wind, and dust.
• Physical ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and walk long distances on uneven terrain.
• Basic computer skills for completing electronic training, work orders, and reports.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Mojave, CA.
