What you will do

• Process returned laptops for reuse or decommission, including sorting and executing decommission sales.
• Prepare and ship laptops for new hires through imaging, labeling, and packaging.
• Manage laptop replacement requests by pulling from stock, shipping, and tracking returns.
• Maintain accurate inventory records across receipt, deployment, and return phases.
• Use Jamf, Intune/AutoPilot, and Entra to verify device status and confirm enrollment or deactivation.
• Coordinate with the IT team regarding device repairs, warranty claims, and escalations.

Requirements

• Comfort with physical work including unboxing, imaging, labeling, and shipping equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of organization for tracking multiple threads.
• Basic familiarity with laptops and fundamental IT concepts.
• Ability to work independently once processes are established.
• Authorized to work in the US without current or future employer sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in IT support, hardware logistics, or asset management.
• Familiarity with MDM platforms (Jamf, Intune) or ticketing systems (Jira).
• Exposure to asset management tools like BlueTally or Snipe-IT.
• Experience with shipping logistics and carrier accounts.
