Nightfall is an AI-native, unified data loss prevention and insider risk management platform protecting sensitive data across SaaS apps and GenAI tools.

What you will do

• Lead all financial functions including FP&A, accounting, financial reporting, and compliance.
• Own long-term financial planning and modeling to inform company strategy and resource allocation.
• Partner with the CEO to lead fundraising efforts and manage board relations.
• Develop and implement financial controls and tools tailored for a high-growth AI SaaS company.
• Oversee annual budgeting, forecasting, and detailed performance analysis.
• Manage and grow the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and trust.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience in SaaS startups, scaling from early to growth stages (Series A/B/C+).
• Experience as a VP of Finance or CFO in a fast-paced, venture-backed environment.
• Deep understanding of subscription business models, key SaaS metrics, and AI-native dynamics.
• Proven success leading fundraising, investor relations, and financial due diligence.
• Strong analytical and modeling skills with expertise in financial systems.
• Must be based in the US to support a hybrid work arrangement in Palo Alto.

Nice to have

• Direct experience in AI, cybersecurity, or data-centric SaaS companies.
• CPA and/or MBA certification.
