What you will do

• Own FP&A, accounting, reporting, cash flow management, budgeting, forecasting, and rolling financial planning.
• Advise the CEO, executive team, and board on capital allocation, revenue model evolution, and the financial impact of AI transformation.
• Lead project-based construction accounting, including cost-to-complete tracking, draw schedules, client billing, revenue recognition, cost allocation, and procurement-in-trust controls.
• Lead M&A financial diligence, valuation modeling, earnout structures, integration planning, and post-close performance tracking.
• Build consolidated reporting across multiple entities and business units while managing banking, audit, and advisory relationships.
• Hire and develop the finance team and select financial systems for a growing ERP-agnostic platform.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including 3–5 years in senior finance leadership.
• Hands-on project-based construction accounting experience is required, including draw management, fraud oversight, project segmentation, and construction-context revenue recognition.
• Independent experience owning M&A diligence, quality of earnings analysis, valuation, and earnout modeling.
• Experience in a venture-backed startup or high-growth technology company with investor-grade reporting, key metrics, and cohort economics.
• Experience with multi-entity or multi-business-unit financial structures and consolidated reporting.
• Hands-on experience identifying finance automation opportunities and designing AI-enabled systems and workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with hybrid services and software or platform revenue models.
• Background in commercial real estate, construction technology, procurement, or hospitality.
• Experience with earnout-based transactions, integration accounting, capital raises, or board-level reporting.
