What you will do

• Develop high-quality React applications using TypeScript and Material UI (MUI).
• Build and maintain shared MUI components, themes, and frontend foundations to ensure consistency across teams.
• Lead the end-to-end ownership of complex features, from technical planning and design to release and production support.
• Define and ship trustworthy AI product experiences, focusing on usability, safety, and operational quality.
• Mentor other engineers, provide actionable feedback, and raise overall team engineering standards.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to create scalable and intuitive user experiences.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience building and operating production software.
• Deep mastery of React, TypeScript, modern JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Material UI (MUI), including theming and design-system patterns.
• Proven experience building and maintaining component libraries used across multiple products.
• Ability to write clean, well-tested, and secure code with stable APIs.
• Must be based in the US to comply with location and compensation requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with React Testing Library, Playwright, or Storybook.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, observability, and cloud platforms.
• Experience in collaborative product teams with a high focus on design quality and accessibility.
