TL;DR

Data & Business Insights Analyst (Gamedev): Analyzing business performance and player behavior to drive evidence-based decision-making with an accent on translating complex data into actionable stories. Focus on bridging the gap between technical data pipelines and business stakeholders to optimize revenue strategy and game performance.

Location: Remote or Hybrid (Chatham, UK). Ideal candidate should be able to spend at least one day a week in the office, although flexibility is available.

What you will do

• Translate business questions into clear analytical approaches and reporting solutions.
• Analyze business performance across player behavior, game performance, sales, and market trends.
• Transform complex analysis into engaging stories and visualizations for audiences at all organizational levels.
• Collaborate with Analytics Engineers to define requirements for new datasets and reporting tools.
• Contribute to the development of meaningful KPIs to track progress and outcomes.
• Partner with Product, Marketing, Commercial, and Finance teams to evaluate assumptions and make evidence-based decisions.

Requirements

• Experience in a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, Insights Analyst, or BI role.
• Strong SQL skills and confidence working with large and varied datasets.
• Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, or similar data exploration and communication tools.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to combine information from multiple sources to answer broad business questions.
• Must be able to travel occasionally to the Paris headquarters (1-2 times per year).

Nice to have

• Experience in the video games, entertainment, subscription, or digital consumer sectors.
• Understanding of live revenue strategy, pricing, promotions, or player lifecycle analysis.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, or Databricks.
• Familiarity with Python for analysis.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis, experimentation, or predictive modelling.
