What you will do

  • Collect, process, and analyze large datasets to identify trends and insights.
  • Create effective visual representations such as charts, graphs, and dashboards.
  • Develop and maintain visualization tools using Python, R, or platforms like Power BI and Spotfire.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, modellers, and business stakeholders to deliver customized solutions.
  • Ensure visualizations are user-friendly, accessible, and informative.
  • Document development processes and communicate findings to the R&D team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI and data manipulation via SQL.
  • Ability to translate complex business needs into theoretical equations and code.
  • Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity in Parma, Italy.

Nice to have

  • Experience with data visualization tools within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences industry.
