TL;DR
Lead Product Performance Data Analyst (Data Analytics): Building and governing the integrated cost, schedule, benchmark, and KPI data foundation for Vantage’s global data center products with an accent on data quality, lineage, reconciliation, and repeatable reporting. Focus on maintaining controlled data models, explaining baseline variances, supporting techno-economic analysis, and developing Power BI dashboards and automated validation routines.

What you will do
- Define and maintain KPIs, analytics views, benchmark datasets, schemas, data dictionaries, identifiers, and integrated WBS, cost, and schedule hierarchies.
- Validate and reconcile supplier, consultant, internal delivery, RFP, contractor estimate, and market data against required fields, mappings, naming standards, and reference points.
- Run data-quality checks for duplicates, missing metadata, broken mappings, orphan records, version issues, and reference-integrity failures.
- Maintain lineage and governance metadata, including source grade, confidence, base date, currency, escalation basis, assumptions, ownership, change logs, and refresh records.
- Support baseline and reference-point variance analysis, regional factor packs, configuration bridges, sensitivity reporting, and techno-economic analysis.
- Build Power BI dashboards and translate data requirements into tooling specifications with Developers and IT, progressively automating validation, reporting, and import routines.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of experience in data analysis, analytics engineering, data management, project controls analytics, commercial analytics, or capital-project data.
- Advanced Excel, Power Query, SQL, and Power BI or equivalent analytical tools.
- Experience structuring, validating, reconciling, and documenting complex datasets from multiple sources.
- Strong understanding of schemas, keys, reference data, hierarchies, lineage, mappings, and controlled data structures.
- Experience creating data-quality and validation regimes with QA checks, reconciliation, audit logs, refresh protocols, and exception reporting.
- Strong communication, documentation, business data reasoning, and variance-analysis skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with capital projects, construction, infrastructure, data centers, utilities, or natural resources.
- Knowledge of cost data, unit rates, quantities, WBS/CBS, project controls, EAC, estimating, change data, and benchmarking.
- Experience with Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, data lake platforms, or data governance services.
- Python experience with Pandas, NumPy, data transformation, automation, validation, or analysis.
- Experience with ETL/ELT workflows, dimensional modeling, semantic models, or automated data refreshes.
