Manager, Product Design - Enterprise (AI)

Location: Bellevue, WA, Seattle, or Boston; 3–4 days per week in the local office may be required, with occasional travel

Salary: $149,000–$225,000 base salary per year, plus eligibility for 401(k), equity grants, and potentially an annual bonus

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, hire, and develop a team of 3–5 Product Designers while contributing hands-on to high-impact initiatives.
• Define the vision for Enterprise Retail Systems and influence product strategy, roadmap priorities, and investment decisions.
• Guide discovery, ideation, prototyping, testing, and delivery for complex, data-rich enterprise workflows.
• Build a high-performing design culture through mentorship, performance management, career development, and feedback.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, User Research, and business teams to validate concepts, measure adoption, and improve outcomes.
• Champion accessibility, scalable design systems, design quality, and AI-powered tools across enterprise products.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Product Design, UX Design, Information Architecture, or a related field.
• 3+ years leading, coaching, and developing Product Design teams in a fast-paced product organization.
• Experience balancing people leadership with hands-on product design in a player/coach role.
• Experience partnering with Product, Engineering, Research, and business teams to deliver customer-centered products.
• A portfolio demonstrating systems thinking, complex enterprise workflows, and measurable customer or business impact.
• Bachelor’s degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise software, ecommerce platforms, marketplaces, healthcare technology, FinTech, SaaS, or other complex digital products.
• Experience leading design systems and scalable design practices across multiple product teams.
• Experience using AI-powered tools or emerging technologies to improve design workflows, team efficiency, or customer experiences.
• Experience with Agile product development and cross-functional strategy.
