Lead Product Designer (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States; occasional travel may be required for company and customer meetings.

Annual base salary: $165,000–$195,000, plus annual performance bonus and equity participation.

What you will do

• Lead product design for App 2.0 from concept and information architecture through user flows, prototypes, high-fidelity UI, and implementation.
• Design responsive desktop and mobile-optimized experiences that improve engagement and adoption.
• Establish and evolve the App 2.0 design system, including components, patterns, tokens, documentation, and governance.
• Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Customer Success, customers, and compliance to align design decisions and implementation.
• Apply accessibility principles and WCAG 2.2 AA across the product and design system.
• Define AI-enabled design workflows and explore AI agents that increase design capacity and consistency while preserving design judgment.

Requirements

• Significant product design experience with a portfolio demonstrating shipped work across complex digital products.
• Experience leading end-to-end product design and owning or significantly evolving a component-based design system.
• Strong interaction, visual, information architecture, and prototyping skills, with fluency in Figma or comparable tools.
• Working knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA and experience applying accessibility principles during design.
• Experience using AI in product design, strong systems thinking, and an evidence-based approach to testing and iteration.
• Must live and work in the United States and be authorized to work without current or future employment visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience designing financial services, employee benefits, healthcare, or other regulated or trust-sensitive products.
• Familiarity with React Native, shadcn, Tailwind, or similar component-based frameworks.
• Experience with accessibility audits, VPAT/ACR findings, product analytics such as Mixpanel, or AI-enabled product experiences.
