Product Designer II (AI)

Location: Remote, US

Salary: $108,000–$125,000 per year, plus equity; starting compensation may vary by geographic location, experience, and skills.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end design for agent, wholesaler, and back-office workflows, from problem framing and research through prototyping, validation, and implementation.
• Design role-based experiences, data import workflows, quoting, pricing, illustration, and configurator interfaces.
• Conduct user interviews, usability testing, data analysis, and moderated research with external agents.
• Create user flows, diagrams, Figma designs, and coded prototypes in collaboration with product and engineering.
• Design partner integration experiences including single sign-on, application pre-fill, case status, and quoting APIs.
• Protect design quality and champion user-centered design in a regulated insurance product.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of product design experience, ideally with complex or regulated products such as fintech, healthcare, enterprise B2B, or insurance.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, plus a portfolio demonstrating systems thinking and research-to-shipping discipline.
• Proficiency in Figma, modern prototyping, user research, qualitative and quantitative analysis, and design systems.
• Hands-on experience building or iterating on designs in an IDE or code-based environment is required.
• Experience navigating coded prototypes and shared repositories, collaborating with engineering and product, and using AI tools in design practice.
• Strong communication skills, stakeholder presentation experience, and the ability to make progress with incomplete information.

Nice to have

• Experience designing for professional or agent-facing channels such as brokerage, wealth, distribution, or marketplace supply-side products.
• Experience spanning two companies’ brands or designing quoting, pricing, illustration, or configurator interfaces.
• Experience with agentic or multi-step AI workflows and design-system-to-code pipelines.
