What you will do

• Define subsystem architectures, develop requirement specifications, and create comprehensive test plans.
• Coordinate project activities and align with mechanical, electrical, and software engineering stakeholders.
• Participate in prototype integration and perform logical analysis to validate system performance.
• Establish workflows and document calibration, manufacturing, and service procedures.
• Troubleshoot system and subsystem issues, implementing solutions in collaboration with functional teams.
• Support internal and external customers to optimize tool performance and lead field troubleshooting efforts.

Requirements

• Education/Experience: PhD with 0 years, Master's with 3+ years, or Bachelor's with 5+ years of related experience.
• Strong expertise in digital signal processing and imaging systems (e-beam or optical).
• Experience with particle beam physics, electron optics, or SEM technology.
• Proven diagnostic and troubleshooting skills in precision mechanical and motion control systems.
• Strong command of general physics, mathematics, and computational skills.
• Ability to travel up to 25%, primarily internationally.

Nice to have

• Experience with scripting languages such as Python and/or Matlab for image and signal processing.
