Quality Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Marion, IN, United States; onsite, full time

What you will do

• Develop and implement Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement programs to maintain product quality and conformity with customer and company specifications.
• Lead plant Continuous Improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma and structured problem-solving methods.
• Manage testing across production processes and analyze quality and operational data to support plant objectives and data-driven decisions.
• Own the Quality Management System, maintain ISO 9001 certification, and manage external audits and regulatory inspections.
• Investigate field issues, customer returns, and nonconforming products using root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
• Lead, coach, train, and develop quality team members while partnering with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, customers, and regulatory agencies.

Requirements

• Demonstrated success in a high-performance manufacturing environment and proven Quality Assurance experience.
• Proven experience with Continuous Improvement methodologies, including Lean Six Sigma principles and tools.
• Strong working knowledge and practical application of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Proven ability to lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, quality improvement efforts, and data-driven decision making.
• Strong leadership, coaching, mentoring, talent development, communication, planning, and organizational skills.
• Ability to build relationships and influence outcomes across all organizational levels and achieve results through cross-functional partnership.
• Strong attention to detail, business understanding, ability to manage complex tasks and competing priorities, high energy, and urgency in a fast-paced environment.
• 4+ years of manufacturing quality experience and previous leadership experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering preferred. Other engineering disciplines may be considered with relevant manufacturing quality leadership experience.

• Experience leading quality teams.
• Experience in wire and cable manufacturing.
• Lean Six Sigma and/or ASQ certification.
• Experience working directly with customers, regulatory agencies, and external auditors.
• Proven success leading measurable business improvements through Continuous Improvement methodologies.
