Global Quality Systems Manager (Chemical Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead the development, standardization, implementation, governance, and continual improvement of Quality Management System processes across the global manufacturing network.
• Establish governance frameworks for document management, internal audits, process confirmation, risk management, training and competency, and Cost of Quality.
• Assess site systems against enterprise standards, global requirements, customer expectations, and quality-management best practices; identify systemic risks and verify effective closure of improvement plans.
• Define global quality-performance frameworks covering KPIs, measures, controls, targets, review routines, and Cost of Quality links to operational and financial outcomes.
• Develop internal-audit and process-confirmation programs, including auditor competency, assessment, reporting, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, prevention of recurrence, and effectiveness verification.
• Provide functional direction, training, and coaching to regional and site quality leaders, internal auditors, process owners, and quality-system practitioners while partnering across Quality, Operations, QC Laboratories, Supply Chain, Commercial, and Finance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Quality Management, or a related technical field, plus 10+ years of experience in chemical manufacturing, quality management, or a related industrial environment, including multi-site or global responsibility.
• Demonstrated experience developing, implementing, and improving Quality Management Systems across manufacturing operations.
• Advanced expertise in ISO 9001 and IATF 16949, with the ability to translate technical requirements into practical and sustainable systems.
• Demonstrated success establishing or improving process-confirmation programs, Cost of Quality frameworks, quality-performance systems, or digital quality solutions.
• Ability to create scalable technical frameworks, influence across organizational boundaries, and drive adoption without direct authority.
• Experience supporting manufacturing operations and/or laboratory activities in an on-site environment.
• Strong change-leadership, stakeholder-management, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally based on business needs.

• Experience with analytics, automation, and enterprise quality technologies.
• Lead auditor qualification, relevant professional certification, or equivalent demonstrated expertise.
