What you will do

• Define the technical roadmap and vision for Quick's memory, knowledge graph, and session infrastructure.
• Lead and develop a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of ownership and intellectual curiosity.
• Collaborate with applied science teams to co-develop and implement novel algorithms for agent memory and knowledge retrieval.
• Analyze user telemetry and behavioral data to identify and resolve gaps in context quality and session continuity.
• Maintain high operational standards for reliability, latency, and scalability of foundational platform services.
• Deliver new user-facing capabilities, such as proactive context surfacing and enhanced personalization.

Requirements

• 10+ years of engineering experience, with 5+ years specifically in engineering team management.
• Extensive experience planning, designing, and delivering large-scale consumer software.
• Proven track record of managing teams of 10+ engineers across multiple concurrent workstreams in Agile environments.
• Deep expertise in building and operating very large distributed systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Must be based in or be able to work from Seattle, WA, USA.

Nice to have

• Experience building large-scale machine learning and AI solutions at internet scale.
• Proficiency with AWS services.
• Experience implementing process improvements through automation and analysis.
