What you will do

• Define the technical vision and execution roadmap for the Platform Engineering team in alignment with company priorities.
• Build, manage, and coach a high-performing team of engineers and engineering leaders.
• Oversee the design and delivery of a large-scale AI-based fraud and risk decision platform.
• Partner with data science to apply unsupervised, supervised, and agentic AI methods to stop fraudulent behavior.
• Guide the evolution of distributed real-time data systems using Spark, Flink, Cassandra, and Kafka.
• Establish strong engineering processes, operational rigor, and high-quality development practices.

Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science or related field (MS/PhD preferred).
• 10+ years of software development experience with substantial leadership experience.
• 5+ years of experience managing teams, including leading senior engineers and engineering managers.
• Fluency in Java or C++ and knowledge of Python, with a strong background in scalable distributed systems.
• Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts, including LLM-powered applications and agent-based system design.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Mountain View, California, United States.
