Salary: $147,760 - $240,110

What you will do

• Lead multiple engineering teams delivering autonomy execution services, mission automation, and remote-control capabilities.
• Define and execute the vision for scalable and secure platform services and APIs to improve developer productivity.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, security, and business stakeholders to align platform capabilities with enterprise strategy.
• Drive the design of reusable platform services and APIs, anticipating future use cases and requirements.
• Seek and implement opportunities to improve organizational efficiencies across engineering teams.

Requirements

• Must be based in Irving, TX (Dallas) or be eligible for domestic relocation.
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing engineering teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of designing reusable platform services, shared APIs, and common frameworks.
• Proven expertise in delivering scalable, cloud-native distributed systems and driving engineering best practices.
• Strong ability to detect systemic issues early, manage risk proactively, and drive corrective actions.

Nice to have

• Practical experience leveraging Gen AI assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to accelerate code generation.
• Proven ability to lead a large organization of 20+ software engineers through complex initiatives.
• Strong background in observability and production readiness for cloud-native services.
