Intermediate Business Analyst (Defense)

Salary: $75,000 - $110,000 USD

What you will do

• Manage software change requests and work items using Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Jira to meet government deadlines.
• Analyze information system functions to perform data maintenance and content reviews to ensure business rules are correctly applied.
• Develop technical project artifacts including UML diagrams, data flow diagrams, and UI mockups.
• Prepare and deliver Software Test Plans and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure functionality and security.
• Create comprehensive software documentation such as user guides, quick help guides, and training slides.
• Collaborate with the Knowledge and Data Management Branch to recommend design improvements for system performance.

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance.
• At least 3 years of paid experience in business system analysis of complex applications.
• Proficiency in developing design artifacts such as process maps and UI wireframes.
• Experience using SQL Server Management Studio or similar tools to examine database schemas.
• Knowledge of SDLC and DoD Information Assurance controls (STIG) applicable to application software.
• Must be able to provide on-site support in Rock Island, IL.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a similar program.
