What you will do
- Execute functional, performance, and stress test plans for legacy and next-generation optical modems in a factory environment.
- Analyze, document, and communicate test results and defects to development teams.
- Participate in root cause analysis and issue resolution alongside senior engineers.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and tools to reduce cycle time and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional hardware, software, and firmware engineering teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, or Optical Engineering.
- Foundational knowledge of optical communication principles including lasers, photodetectors, and optical fiber.
- Hands-on experience with laboratory test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and optical power meters.
- Proficiency in Python or MATLAB for test automation.
- Ability to travel up to 20%.
