What you will do

• Develop and execute strategies for automated test suites and tool selection to ensure long-term reliability.
• Design robust automation frameworks for both front-end and back-end systems, emphasizing reusability and maintainability.
• Lead QA initiatives for 300+ enterprise integrations, focusing on uncovering vulnerabilities and edge-case failure scenarios.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation throughout the software lifecycle.
• Coach and mentor team members on automation best practices, tools, and script design.
• Establish KPIs and ROI methodologies to evaluate the effectiveness of QA test initiatives.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of related experience, including at least 2 years of managerial experience.
• Minimum 6 years of cumulative software test automation experience.
• Deep technical hands-on experience with APIs (REST, SOAP, Postman) and automation tools (Selenium, Cucumber, SOAPUI).
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Vancouver, Canada.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical design and execution of complex QA test plans.

Nice to have

• Experience with MuleSoft or other integration platforms.
• Proficiency in automated data validation using Alteryx or similar data analytics tools.
• Certifications in ISTQB, ASQ, PMI-RMP, or Six Sigma.
• Experience with Workday or Student and Enrolment system implementations.
• Knowledge of BDD and thick-client automation frameworks.
