What you will do

• Implement automation-first quality engineering for a platform integrating voice, desktop, and AI.
• Develop and maintain fast-turnaround regression suites to gate weekly deployments.
• Own automation coverage and quality signals for assigned squads' services.
• Conduct load, stress, and soak testing for high-throughput, low-latency systems.
• Test event-driven systems, WebSocket flows, and browser extensions.
• Integrate tests into trunk-based CI/CD pipelines and manage flake reduction.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an SDET writing production-grade automation code in Go or Python.
• Expertise in root-cause debugging and issue isolation within distributed systems.
• Experience with high-load testing and identifying system performance bottlenecks.
• Proficiency in testing WebSocket flows, event-driven architectures, and browser extensions.
• Strong CI/CD mindset with experience in trunk-based development and flake management.
• Must be based in Canada

Nice to have

• Experience testing AI outputs using eval-style assertions for non-deterministic LLM/ML features.
