Salary: $7,487.00 - $8,028.00 CAD Monthly

What you will do

• Perform skilled mechanical repairs, including engine and transmission overhauls.
• Conduct electrical and electronic diagnostics and fault finding.
• Inspect and maintain vehicles to meet Provincial Vehicle Inspection Program requirements.
• Service and maintain specialized equipment, including EV, Hybrid, and CNG vehicles.
• Fabricate and modify vehicle parts using sheet metal and welding equipment.
• Train and monitor the work of apprentices.

Requirements

• Trade certification as a Journeyperson Heavy Duty or Automotive Mechanic.
• Technical certification as an authorized Commercial/Private Vehicle Inspector.
• Valid BC Class 3 Driver’s License with air brakes endorsement.
• Minimum five years of related experience.
• Clean driver’s abstract and insurance claim history.
• Computerized engine management training.
