Salary: $38.94 – 46.63/hr CAD

What you will do

• Lead and co-lead kaizen events focusing on standard work design, line balancing, and 5S implementation.
• Conduct value stream mapping and process analysis to identify and eliminate waste on production lines.
• Perform time studies and bottleneck analysis to generate data-driven recommendations for leadership.
• Implement and audit standard work, visual controls, and Daily Management huddles.
• Coach and train operators and supervisors in systematic problem-solving methods like PDCA and root-cause thinking.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to sustain process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or operations environment.
• Proven experience leading at least 3 kaizen events or significant improvement projects.
• Strong proficiency in Lean Manufacturing fundamentals (VSM, takt time, pull systems, 5S).
• Knowledge of A3 problem solving and root-cause analysis (5-why).
• Must be based in or able to work 100% on-site in Surrey, BC.

Nice to have

• Experience with production data visualization and creating dashboards in Microsoft Excel.
