What you will do

• Serve as the technical point of contact for assigned facility systems.
• Maintain technical baselines, configuration management documentation, and Master Equipment Lists.
• Perform system walkdowns, equipment assessments, and engineering evaluations.
• Support facility modifications through design reviews and change control processes.
• Develop engineering calculations, technical reports, and system analyses.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical issues and ensure compliance with DOE and NNSA standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Nuclear, or related Engineering discipline.
• Experience supporting engineering, maintenance, or operations within DOE, NNSA, nuclear, or highly regulated industrial facilities.
• Knowledge of engineering design, configuration management, and maintenance processes.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Strong analytical, communication, and technical writing skills.
• Must be able to work fully on-site in Los Alamos, New Mexico.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting LANL or DOE/NNSA nuclear facilities.
• Knowledge of LANL Conduct of Engineering and Engineering Standards Manual.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience as a Pressure Safety Officer (PSO) or Electrical Safety Officer (ESO).
