What you will do

• Lead piping engineering design for process, high-temperature, and utility piping systems.
• Develop and approve piping specifications, line lists, routing concepts, and technical calculations.
• Evaluate thermal expansion, flexibility, and equipment loads for high-temperature systems.
• Review piping layouts, isometrics, material selections, and vendor documentation.
• Coordinate with process, mechanical, I&C, HVAC, and structural teams to ensure system integration.
• Support design reviews, constructability assessments, and commissioning activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in nuclear, DOE, or high-hazard industrial facilities.
• Expertise in high-temperature piping, routing, anchoring, and piping codes.
• Proficiency in reviewing P&IDs, isometrics, and support drawings.
• US citizenship is required for government contract and security clearance purposes.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required site access and security clearances.

Nice to have

• Experience with hot cells, gloveboxes, or uranium processing facilities.
• Knowledge of ASME B31.3, ASME Section III, or seismic design.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Active DOE L or Q clearance.
