What you will do

• Lead day-to-day operations for security analysts and incident responders, owning the full incident lifecycle from detection to recovery.
• Provide operational support and continuous improvement for Blue Team tools, including SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, and forensic platforms.
• Coordinate cross-functional response efforts across IT Security and business stakeholders to mitigate high-severity incidents.
• Drive detection effectiveness through alert tuning, use-case development, and false-positive reduction.
• Conduct deep-dive investigations using system, network, cloud, and malware data combined with OSINT.
• Deliver factual incident analysis and reporting to leadership, driving post-incident reviews and purple team exercises.

Requirements

• Proven proficiency in incident analysis, data gathering, and information synthesis within IT security management.
• Experience with Blue Team tooling (EDR, DLP, SIEM, SOAR).
• Ability to mentor and develop junior security analysts through hands-on coaching.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and enterprise security policies.
• Must be based in the United States.
