Engineer, Security Operations & Engineering

Location: Remote, USA; must be a US citizen residing on US soil.

Salary: $116,000–$145,000 per year base salary; no additional commission-based compensation.

What you will do

• Design and implement secure architectures across cloud environments using zero-trust principles and identity-based access controls.
• Manage threat detection, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to identify and remediate risks.
• Lead incident response and use threat intelligence to detect, contain, and prevent cyber threats.
• Ensure alignment with ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, CIS, OWASP, SOC 2, and CSA security standards.
• Support internal and external security audits by preparing documentation and evidence.
• Deliver security automation and architectural improvements that measurably strengthen the security posture.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in information security, security engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience securing AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management, and incident response tools.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, infrastructure as code, network and application security, identity and access management, and encryption.
• Working knowledge of data analysis and data science tools such as SQL and Python.
• US citizenship, residence on US soil, and no requirement for visa sponsorship. A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or equivalent experience is also required.
