What you will do

• Build and cultivate strong supplier partnerships to ensure cost competitiveness, reliable supply, and risk mitigation.
• Develop and execute commodity strategies to ensure supply security and competitive market positioning.
• Lead sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations, and contract discussions to achieve business objectives.
• Monitor market conditions, commodity trends, and pricing movements to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Maintain procurement and ERP (SAP) systems, including material master data and pricing updates.
• Collaborate with Operations and R&D to identify alternative materials and value engineering opportunities for cost reduction.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 3+ years of procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with SAP, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Highland Heights, KY or Claremont, NC.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting commodity management, supplier development, or strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Professional certifications such as CPSM, C.P.M., or CPIM.
• Demonstrated success in implementing practical business solutions and process improvements.
