Senior System Administrator (Infrastructure)

TL;DR

Senior System Administrator (Infrastructure): Providing senior-level infrastructure and systems sustainment for FMWorkFlow with an accent on Windows/Linux environments, Active Directory, and Nutanix virtualization. Focus on performing root-cause analysis, capacity planning, and implementing security directives such as IAVAs and STIG compliance.

Location: Primary work location at Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota; occasional work at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio.

What you will do

• Perform infrastructure performance analysis, root-cause analysis, and capacity planning.
• Administer Windows and Linux systems, including Active Directory and service accounts.
• Engineer and sustain Nutanix virtualization infrastructure.
• Implement and validate security patches and directives (IAVAs, TCNOs, NOTAMs).
• Support backup, recovery, resilience, and COOP activities.
• Maintain and validate controlled development and test infrastructure.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Windows and Linux administration.
• Proficiency with Active Directory and service account management.
• Hands-on experience with Nutanix virtualization.
• Expertise in patching, configuration baselines, and backup/recovery.
• Ability to support COOP and performance analysis.
• Must be able to work onsite at Ellsworth AFB, SD.
