Salary: $78,000 – $110,000 annually

What you will do

• Install, configure, and maintain enterprise servers, operating systems, and network software across multiple locations.
• Optimize system configurations to maximize performance, reliability, and availability.
• Perform vulnerability management activities, including identification, analysis, and remediation of security vulnerabilities.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, or Python to standardize administrative processes.
• Collaborate with network and cybersecurity teams to ensure secure and reliable enterprise operations.
• Provide advanced technical support and leadership to end users and junior system administrators.

Requirements

• Active Secret Security Clearance.
• 7 to 10 years of experience administering enterprise Windows and/or Linux server environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Current CompTIA Security+ certification (preferred), or Network+ or Certified Network Defender (CND) certification.
• Proven experience in system hardening and security best practices.
• Strong analytical skills for resolving complex infrastructure and connectivity issues.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting Department of Defense or other Federal Government enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies, enterprise storage, and backup solutions.
• Experience with load balancing and high-availability system architectures.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
