What you will do

• Design and implement new infrastructure to accommodate growth and decommission legacy systems.
• Provide advanced Tier 3 troubleshooting and support to the desktop team.
• Maintain patching and monitoring of infrastructure to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Collaborate with security engineers to implement strict security standards, including CMMC 2.0 regulations.
• Plan and execute infrastructure projects and efforts set forth by leadership.
• Enforce strategies for monitoring, testing, and backup (COOP/DR).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or 5+ years of professional experience as an IT Systems Engineer.
• Proficiency in Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and Office 365.
• Strong knowledge of networking: VLANs, VPN technologies, and Firewalls.
• Familiarity with Python or PowerShell for automation.
• U.S. Citizenship is strictly required.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as CISSP, CompTIA, or other industry-recognized credentials.
• 3-5 years of experience in government-regulated or high-security industries.
• Knowledge of NIST 800-171, ISO 27001, or ITAR.
