What you will do

• Implement and maintain IT systems supporting program missions and customers.
• Perform routine maintenance, including software/hardware installations and OS patching.
• Execute system hardening, vulnerability analysis, and remediation across various computing systems.
• Coordinate IT operations between program personnel, security teams, and leadership.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation following industry best practices.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience supporting IT solutions in government accredited program network environments.
• Proficiency with Windows and Linux Operating Systems.
• Strong knowledge of virtualization, networking, and Microsoft Active Directory (DHCP, DNS).
• Current TS//SCI clearance required.
• DOD 8140/8570 IAT Level II or higher certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CISSP).
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or a STEM field preferred.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with system compliance and hardening using DISA STIGs and/or CIS Benchmarks.
• Experience with security controls and tools such as MFA, PKI, and DLP.
• Skill in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, BASH, and Ansible.
• Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk) and vulnerability scanners (Nessus, Rapid7).
• Familiarity with NIST 800-53 control frameworks.
